Position: Commercial Field Technician

Hours: FT/40 hours

Position Description

The Commercial Field Technician is responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of radon mitigation systems throughout the Unites States. The Commercial Field Technician will depart from the Louisville office each Monday to the weeks jobs and return to the Louisville office no later than Friday of the same week.  This position requires flexibility, strong time management, problem solving and the ability to work in a team.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Morning meetings with onsite crew leader to discuss the days job plan
  • Always follow company safety guidelines    
  • Represent the company in a professional and positive manner
  • Perform every installation and service call as if you were working on your home
  • Document job details in accordance with company policy
  • Respond quickly to customer problems or issues
  • Continuously provide great customer service and satisfaction

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Sufficient real work experience working in construction, plumbing, piping, or maintenance
  • Prior use of rotary hammer drills, electric and battery powered hand tools, 24’ and 40’ ladders
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Ability to lift 55 pounds
  • Ability to stand on your feet up to 8 hours a day
  • Great communication skills
  • Amazing problem-solving skills
  • Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
  • Ability to communicate in English

Position Compensation

  • Full time, hourly
  • Base compensation payable bi-weekly
